Mazda b5 dohc overfuelling!

just put back together after valve job, floods itself instead of firing up, if I cut off fuel supply and spray a bit of ether it fires up. thoughts! Mazda familia 89 b5 dohc :) in white not blue

Yeah I've checked it - thought that too, especially after head work. Also should add vehicle tow starts and then runs normally, just no good self starting.

You've reconnected the coolant temp sensor and/or air intake temp sensor if its got one correctly!

Yep checked connections. It is somewhat improved over the last few days, will start on its own if it has just been running, won't start otherwise unless I clamp off the fuel line and wind till it fires, then release the fuel line. if I try winding over normally it just floods.

how old is fuel! Did you disconnect hoses from pipes or from the rail might be the wrong way around.
