I have a friend in Marshlands in Chch has lost her car keys and needs the car shifted. Have you considered smashing a quarter window and hot wiring. The parts should be cheap to replace from a wreckers later on.

Cheaper and less hassle to get AA to help! That's assuming they're operating today.
