anyone had much to do with them,how thirsty,is the v8 a much better vehicle than the v6 ect,cheers!

I have an 06, getting ready to sell it though because its too big for what i need now. normally cost $130 to fill and get 400kms roughly round town and 550 on a long trip. Havnt had any problems with it and was happy to find a reciept that the auto has been rebuilt! Have had two now, both v8s. They go all good, but you will always hear bad things about them.

06 Explorer! '04 was the last model year available in NZ, unless its been imported, even then I don't know if they did a RHD version of the them.

It must of been bought/registered in 06. '04 and a few '05 models were the last model year available in NZ, '06 on was the new model (Fourth Generation).

That may be right, just running out the 05. mine was regestered in may 06. would explain why an 06 in the states is different.
