How to disable kiddie lock from inside door Vectra

My right passenger door wasn't locking so partner disabled the outside door handle until we could get it fixed. Now i need to get it a warrant so need to reconnect the door handle but the door won't open from the inside either. We were thinking that the kiddie lock could be on and as the external door handle is disabled this poses a problem. Can we disable the kiddie lock from inside the door panel!

No.You are going to have to get the door open to do that.Looks like your only option is to gorilla the internal door trim off with the door shut to try and trip the external door handle rod.

He managed to get the door trim off, want to know how to disable the kiddie lock inside the door once we had the trim off

You don't need to, if he can reach the rod that attaches to the exterior door handle that you disabled and tug it downwards the door should open.Remember the kiddi lock only isolates the interior door handle.
