when i start up my car it revs out to the rev limiter. i have checked the throtle cable and throtle body and all seem to be fine. what else could it be!

I would expect the throttle butterfly would need to be open to get to the rev limiter.
How did you check the throttle body!

i took the intake pipe off to see if the butterfly was jamed and check all the hose around it. and you reckon it could be afm!

the throttle would have to be open to allow enough air in to let is rev out like that.

or the ilde control valve or cold start valves are broken and letting in WAY too much air
