13-14 volts will make the cars too fast and hard to drive.we could regear them, but then the motors will over rev. Nothing worst than racing on a track that doesn't have a constant power supply.

Oops, incorrect info in post #28 Ignore the bit about the 'power good' connection - it is the 'power on' lead that needs to be connected to ground to switch the supply on. The 3.3v sense lead needs to be connected to the 3.3v out as well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ATX_power_supply#Power_supply
