LMAO Yea, had the end of a 4M x 2M shed on it & about 4 feet off the ground when it did that the 1st time . clearly . the 1st thought in my mind was something like . WTF& FFFF .(split second thought) . . & the second thought was still the same because it had stopped dropping I think I started stuttering a bit when that happened.
I think the biggest fright was because there was no warning of anything not working as it had always done for many years of picking up whole car bodys/ engines/ pulling stuff on to trailers (& off) etc etc It simply "did it" .!

Oh & I just remembered & time placed the previous time I had used the hoist was about 6 months before the shed incident,was to lift a 450kg steel water tank on to & off a trailer.

If I remember correctly, it's just the chain cogs on the other side. Theres not much to them hence the importance of getting the clutch disks correct
