co2 you need a brand spanking new aircleaner or it wont make the emission test. first thing we used to do is that. also leaking exhaust will show wrong co2 on emission nozzle.
oil filters and plugs and lamda sond test is what used to almost always need to be done to any car needing to pass european Wofas first the wof place do is stick the nozzle in if its no good you get send on your way and charged for the whole wof.

if the cat is not working then HC will be off the scale normal hc is 57 or lower and its usually mesured before and after cat before cat on some cars its 350 hc and 67 after cat. for a example.

idle is normally set for each car and its emission and has to be within 50 rpm of the set idle rpm. We used to have loads of problems with japanese cars not ideling at correct rpm mostly hondaand nissan where bad for it . if it did not need a wof just a emission test we managed to cheat the rpm by raising the rpm and hitting print when the computer mesuring emissions reached the rpm that was required to pass emission test and hope the rest of the emissions where still within the parameters.
