What year Wingroad! Which engine gearbox combo. (ie. the 2000cc has the CVT trans. The 1500cc and 1800cc have 4 spd autos till 2005) cheers Stevo

2008 could be either CVT or 4 speed auto. You need to identify what sort it is first. Has it been serviced lately!

Thats what Im thinking. or if it is CVT then has it had standard trans fluid put in it

Serviced by who! I have a feeling its cvt with the wrong fluid put in. Is 50,000 including the gearbox!

no gearbox not serviced every 5000km.mechanic said gearbox oil not changed as servicebook says only needed if driven in extreme conditions, eg desert or snow conditions.

Get a 2nd opinion, but most likely the whole box will need to come out and be replaced. Gearbox repairs can be costly. Doing 129,000km with no fluid change is asking for issues.

transmission fluid should have been changed at 60,000km. thats for the 4 speed auto. I dont know about the CVT but it will probably be the same
