Not sure of the year, (similar to one here tho: http://www.jae.co.nz/contact/dunedin/) does the computer system allow wires to be spliced on reverse, and ciggarette! Less than an amp current.

In a Toyota Hiace van, if a reversing camera was spliced on to reversing light wire, and screen was on cig lighter, would it's computer system give an overload error!
no that wouldnt affect the ecu those circuits dont run through the ecu at all
