The battery tray in my Holden VR ute is rotten and i honestly CBFed fixing it. What i'd like to know is if i relocate the battery to the tray inside one of those aftermarket boxes and make sure all cables are made and installed/located properly do i need to have a cert' done.

Total guess, would be no. Ring a certifier.
