familiadude, Feb 3, 9:28am
no dents at all

jezz43, Feb 3, 9:29am
did the person who fitted it hit the terminals with a hammer instead of undoing the bolts properly!

familiadude, Feb 3, 9:32am
now that you mention it they used a rubber mallet from memory

jezz43, Feb 3, 9:33am

Just leave the battery post like it is, don't try and bend it back. But, I'd be going back and asking for a replacement battery.

was a mate of a mate that fitted it so naff all chance of that. shouldnt affect it though!

If all orange and red lights go out drive it 4 another 4 years. Just check that the battery post bolts are tight.

Some mates of mates really are dipsticks! In 30 years of fiddling with cars I can't remember having to hit the clamp that hard that it bent the terminal.

Never ever hit a clamp. if only Sue Bradford pursued more useful laws you might have been O.K.

(Seriously though, you should never hit one no matter how light)
