Hello got a "new" Mazda bounty diesel Ute yesterday and have at the advise of a mechanic friend have drained and flushed the radiator fluid and put new coolant in. I followed all the instructions on the consentrate and made up 3 litres. I filled the radiator and put the rest in the bottle. is this all I need to do!

Check it a few times after running(when cooled down) to compensate for any air bubbles that may work out. Is there one radiator behind the other!If so, blow out any debris from the space between.

Actually, you should remove the radiator and get it rodded out professionally. Costs around $100.
