The other thought is that if you have larger than factory tyres, your speedo is reading lower and it appears you have travelled less than you actually have, giving the impression of poorer fuel consumption

Your consumption of 12.6 litres/100km is fine. I worked mine hard and over the 70,000 kms I owned it averaged 14.5 litres/100km. They don't have a lot of power and consequently you spend a lot of time with the boot right up them. Otherwise a great truck, nothing ever breaks, capable off-road, and handle better than a lot of "proper" 4WD's on the road.

Why nissan put AFM's on there diesels i don't know but may pay to get it checked and cleaned.

i get 550km out of a tank(65l) in my lwb n/a safari(td42) towing about half the time
