4x4 Help Please.

We are looking for a compact 4x4 wagon.($15-$20,000), 2002--2007, to do limited easy off road stuff.getting overwhelmed with choice.any suggestions please!.Hyundai Tucson!,.Mitsubishi Triton!,.Toyota Rav 4!, .any input greatly appreciated.Cheers.Bren

your money would buy a toyota 4 cilinder petrol but not the age braket , the age bracket you aim for is low quality cars for the money you want to pay 10 to 20 grand buys good late 90s to early 2000 4x4s .

try a suzuki grand vitara we have had 4 vitara's and have had a good run out of all of them we have an 07 right now which we bought new.

Yep, noticed the Toyotas, Mazdas were a lot dearer then say the Hyundais in the same age bracket.

yes just be carfull suzuki makes no diesel so the diesel are transplants and older ones are mazda-diesel= absolut pooo. later ones where peugeot and then renault diesel powered. diesel maintainace apply to all commonrail add a lubricate to fuel to prevent longtherm injection problems.

bobwyn, yep the Suzuki is another one we keep coming back too, the terrain down here is pretty rough but the old boy just wants to get a bit further up the tracks so he doesn't have too carry stuff too far.

i would say get a vitara and check it out good as long as its not got the mazda diesel pre 1999 are all mazda
suzuki make the best offroaders
