It is a hyundai van.not sure of engine size but takes a 1100kg payload.

OK, in that case, you might want to consult your Hyundai dealer. Some dealers offer free servicing for X number of years + they might be able to help you out with all the service costs and requirements.

Is it on TM! Do you have the rego number! It should still be under warranty, which I will assume is transferable! If that's the case, there may be specifics in the warranty that require the use of certain workshops and/or recommended parts brands.which could make things more expensive. Basic oil change including 5-6L of oil and a filter would start at $100-$120 at somewhere like Oil Changers. There really are a lot of variables.

A petrol engine is usually cheaper to service, but it also depends on what engines you're comparing. Keep in mind that licencing costs nearly $600 a year for a diesel van + RUCs.

I ask as servicing costs suddenly become lower as you can claim GST, but you already knew that.
