over about 130,00 km's on clock some have suspension issues, needing shock replacement, or they tend to wallow and take more stopping than they should. Had dozens on a rental fleet , for Co. that I worked for, Some were excellent for what they are, others should have been crushed. !300's struggled a bit and 1500 in smooth dry conditions got a bit tail happy when PUSHED

If my memory serves me correctly , DaihatsuSirions are the same wheelbase and floor pan configuration and can be brought and sold below the toyota price.

vandewc--I've had/sold 1 or two of these a month for the last four years. Not one has actually come back with anything more than minor issues. Dud battery,a dodgy window winder etc . Isolated stuff. I've had them with anything from 4000km to 400000km -yep four to four hundred thou andall still running like a clock. --The 400k one was in need of new suspenders -it was pretty wallowy.--like any car with 400k on the clock
