went out to east tamaki and car running fine had no probs at all. came hone car sat in drive for 2 hours. went to go out. got 20 metres down road and engine just stopped. yes its got gas b4 anyone asks the obvious. its a charade. any ideas would b appreciated or knowledge of a good mechanic/ electrician on the shore. TIA

It wil be electrical, call the AA they will come out and help you , once you pay to join. Good piece of mind for anyone who knows nothing about engines.

check your ht leads,had one dud one on my old 89 chararde that took alot of finding.Even the fuel filter can cause problems for no apparent reason!

I owned one that did same and found that the multi plug on the passengers side firewall had corroded / come loose. Try pulling apart and putting together.cuts all electrics.
