The reason it is called colorado is because GM sold of there isuzu brand, along with the the rodeo range.hence the complete new platform. when they sold isuzu they sold the rights to use the names aswell.
IT is completely different to the isuzu D max, GM don't own isuzu any more.

Thats not a reason. Colorado just shows Aussie marketing lack of imagination .LOL -They couldnt even spell Cruise properly. Still I reckon it ranks up there with Toyota Levin .even if Levin did have a great little race track once.
