Ok thanks, if the mechanic had already put 10w30 in, would this cause a problem! I sent it in for a service and he quoted x amout. then it was a bit more cos he said it took 8 litres not the 5 litres the computer said. His explination for this was it was prob the wrong submodel, ie a 4cyl.
Is the 10w30 suitable, or should i ask them to put the proper 10w40!
Thanks Stevo, But the W8 model is not on the list, probably what the garage used and where they went wrong. Handy site to save for future use tho. Cheers
