so if you were buying a car off the side of the road you wouldnt bother to ask if the cam belt had been done. I guess if you got plenty of money it dont matter anyway eh!

I have seen guys that frequent the car fair, at pick a part, carefully removingcambelt stickers from wrecks.

Right.
Cambelts changed for $150 or even $450.
Why do these dumb people get so worried about nothing eh!

Why are you selling it!

Now that wouldnt surprise me in the slightest. I often wonder how many times cars are sold with dodgy cambelt done stickers.

One of your other problems is if it isnt done, and the belt breaks, it could cost you more than your cars worth to fix the damage done. 98 VW golf, I had to swerve to avoid some idiot who pulled out in front of me. I hit the curb and the cambelt jumped off. $3500 to repair engine damage alone.Just lucky we had insurance or I would have been selling it to the wreckers.

People say in their ads " only needs ------ for a wof & will only cost $10". You would think that if it was going to be so damn easy to obtain a wof, they would do it prior to selling!

That makes sense; riding over bumps will bring the baby on.

If the number of customers who do the australian slap is an indication.--PLENTY The Australian slap -They tell you its fully serviced,You ask them for the receipt showing the cambelt has been done. They start slapping their pockets looking for the receipt that has never existed.

LOL; sounds like a variation of the Australian Haka, usually performed at the bar when it's their turn to shout!

I love the ads that say "cam chain, no belt to worry about!" as if that's the end of your camshaft maintenance problems.
jas_nz,
