Arh It all becomes clear now . The 924 needs work , have you got a garage for it yet, no 1 is going to work on it in the open . If you are going to own euro classics then you need a good bit of mechanicalknow howotherwise it will cost a fortune ingarage bills . Start with buying a workshop manual& some tools& books on it .

The other thing is, the type of men in New Zealand that can actually race the car are few and far between, the chances hes already hooked up will also be quite high, so you might get the mechanic but not the lover, however, he's sure to have a single mate or a double dodgy helping him do what he already does but you dont want to be taken for a ride and find out he cant perform one or the other roles that you require.
The other consideration is that women who step up like you have done come under the scary category. Only a few men appreciate assertive women. They more likely want to find YOU then keep you THEIR secret (am I close Guys!) but you never know. Text me and tell me what kind of car it is cos if its a classic then you want the right man on the job and I'll make a call to this old geezer I know who knows just about everybody everywhere in the car and bike world LOL

90% of the guys on here would jump at this with open arms. but for the car , unless you have experience with Porsche's they can be tricky to sort out. Also unfortunately for you 90% of the guys who post/read here already have partners , so your more than likely out of luck in finding someone.
