There hard plastic so you can sand them if you want. or table saw if ya carefull.

What car and what pocket are you fitting!
Use a Nissan pocket for Nissan, Toyota pocket for Toyota etc and the fitment is guaranteed to be perfect. Don't bother with universal pockets because they simply aren't universal!
