The ZD30 engine is cam chain driven. 100% no doubt about it.

Thank ü.so no belt to worry about, chain self tightens aye.also haven't Bort vehicle yet, but as rule if its in metal case is it chain driven.! An plastic case belt!

yup chain will have an auto tensioner. and yes generally if it has a plastic cover its belt. and metal have chains.
You think chains are worry free on modern Nissan diesels!Do some proper research on this first and the likely repair costs and you will be begging to have a belt back.Both the YD and ZD engines have got other nasty and expensive habits too.

The zd30 also has pump issues and piston melting issues.
