Sorry to say whoever did the 2nd job was no better or competent than the first clown.

Yup that I did snoopy - simple bl****y spring - band aid or not can add it to the list of can do's lol - will answer about difference tomorrow when driven more than a couple of kms
Didn't really do myself as would have no idea with help from here
So this week will be more phone calls, letters (more B/S) and fifty bales of hay to stack - nothing like something physical to get the brain in gear.

jmma, Nov 11, 4:28am
I think that new slave cyl is OK, but the correct one I have pictured in post #359 has the right pushrod and spring mount.

snoopy221, Nov 11, 4:29am
would have no idea with help from here

Gunna have to point out that grammatical error

Yes, get a letter away asap.

tiggles2, Nov 11, 4:31am
Ok you guys are faster than me lol
same clowns and yes do feel like my truck has been 'rigged' to fail due to 'old age wear and tear' so I take it back.
Not this female - she asks questions on the 2nd attempt at the same thing and will get snotty and argue the point.

jmma, Nov 11, 4:31am
LOL, we useless snoopy (o:

snoopy221, Nov 11, 4:36am
Ring race brakes- Simple cold call-use the *reference* given by all means and refer this thread to the manager by all means and let us know how you get on.
Even email pics of the bearing to them tonight perhaps-and your suspiscions that from what you have learnedit may have been fitted the wrong way around

tiggles2, Nov 11, 4:36am
Feel happy now - yes snoopy my error I'm sori and do apologise xox
Trying to stay diplomatic on a PM board where interpretation goes in all directions and small minds make great stories out of .
Yes jmma will quizz the truck shop inside out as well as another chap I want to get hold of tomorrow - I still want pictures so they can pull it to bits and photograph it - money tree aka CC will survive

tiggles2, Nov 11, 4:37am
WITHOUT THE HELP FROM THE POSTERS ON HERE I WOULD BE F*****ED in regards to the damage to my truck :)

snoopy221, Nov 11, 4:38am

No Broken Fingers.

Next thing is to get you cold calling and dealing with the manager of a reputable business.
And a referral/referance is all you need I M O
I can garauntee there are a LOT of lurkers here and one business here which i
Would be happy to see have a learning curve.
And if any other businesses can show themselves independantly to be reputable
Good on Em

tiggles2, Nov 11, 4:49am
Thank you jmma - kind of stuffed up with the grammar " blonde moment!"
I will post updates as I can - If thread goes poof will start another :)
thank you to all the posters on here who have shared their experiences and knowledge, tossed idea's around and had the patience to explain stuff to me and understand my 'explanations" of things

cowlover, Nov 11, 4:50am
Why has the rusty old 2nd hand pushrod got two lock nuts! From post 359 you will see that correct pushrod would have the thread right through the fork so therefore the hole in the fork will look a bit as if it has a thread.

The fited pushrod looks way out of line.Whats the bet the piston end is wrong and its not sitting correctly.

You say Nev had your pushrod in his office - well no wonder the clown couldn't find it when he attempted to put your truck back together.

Don't want to scare you but what else did they loose and bodgy up either inside the box or when refitting the flywheel or pressure plate!

Someone else suggested a visit from the boys on bikes.Sounds a good idea to me.

tiggles2, Nov 11, 4:56am
Have no problem cold calling when know my facts snoopy - actually I'm a night mare on a phonemy favorite phrase "and that is my problem because" Its only a phone what can they do.
I know there are lurkers on here - usually looking for mischief to fill the void of the lifeless life they created from the fictional bull they spout.
Process from the past has taught me I need hard evidence in writing as well as the verbal word - therein lies the problem - not many will put their necks out these days - to much red tape and stuff

snoopy221, Nov 11, 5:03am
not many will put their necks out these days - to much red tape and stuf
Some still will and i have known the manager of race brakes for a few years.
However a cold call and EXACTLY how you find things is what this thread needs
After all should this proceed to Court there can be no collusion
Deal with the manager/owner
Again a refererral is in this thread.

tiggles2, Nov 11, 5:03am
cowlover - they lost nuts and bolts - so anything is possible. I kid you not Neil stood in the office with a slave cylinder and push rod and claimed they were out of my truck and had failed (not how or why - he evaded those questions) just that it had failed and seized the bearing

snoopy221, Nov 11, 5:05am
At this point yer twuck is dwivin betta.
And Some of ya faith has been restored.
It (Hopefully) will get betta from here-K

tiggles2, Nov 11, 5:07am
I have print screened and printed out the thread snoopy - a print screen can be used in court - a copy and paste can't
I will call tomorrow and talk, then post.
If i am wrong I will say why

tiggles2, Nov 11, 5:09am
I have faith snoopy - in those that walk the talk and take time to explain.
I know a rat when I see one - but not always the type

snoopy221, Nov 11, 5:11am
Fulla out the lakes!
Gary M or Gary J-or Dave!
Ya Gotz me curious
