Update for my Toyota Hilux Injector Problems

aaanda, Mar 23, 10:21am
So.Big ups to Toyota NZ.!

"As a gesture of Goodwill"

Toyota NZ have supplied all parts, including new engine block.got up and running, discovered they were not happy with the injectors as we had always stated.noisey, noisey, noisey.replaced all four of those as well at $1000 each.

Car up and running.Purrs like a kitten.!

Seems you can have some faith in these big companies sometimes.

Helps to have MTA on your side, Consumer Guarantees, service records, service books that state all the major service requirements except the injectors and all the loverly hilux owners that influxed the local dealership with their vehicles within a week when they were not aware there could be a problem.

So thank you to Toyota for doing the right thing!

you better use a additive like chemtech now or you will have the same problem all over as ulsd destroyes injectors due to insufficient lube, I would get ulsd save nozzles and still use chemtech on top. chemtech is soldby supesheep auto 1 liter treates 1000liter diesel in the tank its used like 2 stroke oil just add to fuel.

But meantime, evidence is emerging that other fuel properties also could be affected, including cold-flow, corrosion resistance, oxidation tendency and conductivity, according to some leading diesel additives makers.
