That Lexus LFA is pretty fast -

Especially the Nürburgring Package, that is the 5th fastest production car around the Nürburgring, time of 7:14.64:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_N%C3%BCrburgring_Nordschleife_lap_times
That Nürburgring is 20km long and has over 130 corners and the LFA had to maintain an average speed of more than 167kph to achieve that time.

They're only making 500 of the LFA base car and 50 of the Nürburgring Package cars. They are 4.8ltr v10 with something like 560hp at 8700rpm. Front mid mounted engine with gearbox at the rear:

the-lada-dude, Nov 20, 9:15pm
PHISSSTTlada would do that in 3rd gear !

carstauranga001, Nov 21, 12:08am
Nissan GT-R is 10 seconds slower over 20 km and a fraction of the price.

gadgit3, Nov 21, 1:15am
Belly button car when compaired to 1 of 500 LFA.

jason18, Nov 21, 1:47am
I would rather the gtr

splinter67, Nov 21, 2:22am
me too wonder how many of the 50 made will make it here my bet is none so really who cares only bellends

timmo1, Nov 21, 3:02am
If price wasn't an issue (and for LFA buyers it isn't), then I would have the LFA over a GTR anyday, even though both cars are very impressive machines

inkapuka, Nov 21, 5:43am
How about the juke r lol . wonder what that would be like around nurburg!

inkapuka, Nov 21, 5:55am

cypherboy, Nov 21, 5:57am
LFA hands down, on the basis of the amount of R&D poured into it

nightboss, Nov 21, 6:33am
LFA must be the best Toyota so far, how will they top that!

inkapuka, Nov 21, 6:37am
They sound like a f1 car very high revving

sw20, Nov 21, 7:10am
rerelease the ke70 dx bro.

carstauranga001, Nov 21, 7:24am
So you're getting an LFA then are you!

usdefault, Nov 21, 10:15am
Was behind one here in Brisbane and they sound very very sexy.

gadgit3, Nov 21, 6:13pm
The engine was built for F1 but never made it to the track because F1 made the move to V8. So a production car was made for the engine.

gadgit3, Nov 21, 6:15pm
Haha the LSF is enough fun for me. The 500 sold before alot of people even knew they exsisted.

carstauranga001, Nov 21, 6:20pm
Excuss my ignorance but what is an LSF!

gadgit3, Nov 21, 6:46pm

bill-robinson, Nov 21, 7:31pm
Where is a front mid mounted engine mountedfront or middle of the car!Just asking

bellky, Nov 21, 7:58pm
Hehe, good question bill-robinson. that's what they said on Supercars on 72 Nat Geo but yeah it's basically just at the front behind the front wheels so might be a bit of bs, here's a good pic:

I love how the LFA is naturally aspirated and yet:
".LFA achieved 0 - 100 mph 0.4 seconds quicker and by quartermile mark, LFA was travelling 4 mph faster at the 1??

tazcsv, Nov 21, 8:35pm
It made the following program of the farrari look like a pos. The LFA is one beast id be happy with in the garage.

bellky, Nov 21, 8:44pm
That fezza (I didn't watch it the other night but I think I've seen that one) is out of it ay. it's got two gearboxes; one at the back which is a two speed, and the front gb is a 7 speed, and somehow the computer works it all out - amazing.
