Lexus Monsoon shields

wingpoint, Dec 11, 12:57pm
I like to drive with the windows open, BUT if it rains or just drizzles a wee bit, the water accumulates and splashes through the window. Does anybody have a Lexus coupe photo, so that I can see what it'd look like if I could get some M/shields to fit my car. Model IS250 C 2009

Tell me how you are going to fit a Monsoon shield onto a coupe!
Is it a party trick!

tazcsv, Dec 11, 1:14pm
Tek screws should do the trick.

lk104, Dec 11, 1:16pm
Screw them to what!

Get the ones that stick on to the windows. (o:

Yeah that'll work LMFAO

tazcsv, Dec 11, 1:34pm
Must be a pillar there somewhere

lk104, Dec 11, 1:38pm
You need more than one pillar, will look at bit silly hung out in mid air!

r15, Dec 11, 1:42pm
go and see your toyota / lexus dealer will probably be easiest

tazcsv, Dec 11, 1:43pm
Its a coupe, my guess is it will look silly no matter how you attach one.

lk104, Dec 11, 1:43pm
For a laugh!

lk104, Dec 11, 1:44pm
The point is - YOU CAN'T!

tazcsv, Dec 11, 1:45pm
The point is - YOU CAN! it just wont look that great.

Re read his/her post. They are asking to see a Lexus Coupe (could be SC400/300 or a SC430 here.needs to clarify) with monsoon shields to fit on their car which is not a coupe, but a saloon (IS250)

Whatever!

freedomaira320, Dec 11, 2:45pm
The IS 250 C is a convertible, not a coupe, so hence the confusion. Obviously you can't put monsoons on a convertible. Maybe there is a fixed head coupe version as well! Not aware of it myself, but if there is I bet the Japanese have figured out a way of putting those hideous things on to it. Personally, I think modern cars have such sophisticated systems of delivering fresh air quietly that I wonder why anyone wants to drive around with the windows open.

Ahh right you are, I read it as a IS250 circa 2009 as opposed to a IS250 C
