Besttogo through a freight forwarding co, they will handle the documentation as well , not the cheapest way ,but unless you knowany companybringing in containerwith space for theg box & youknow how to deal with customs ETC letFF do it

I sourced a Volvo gearbox in the UK as I couldn't get a second gear here and even Volovo Sweden couldn't help.I was going over anyway and had a local specialist strip it and I loaded the internals into a sports bag and it came through as checked in luggage.(Flying via the US using their two pieces allowance rather than weight.) Pity you didn't post before the drivers shipping their cars over for the Hulme Festival loaded up, as I am sure they could have squeezed a gearbox into one of their containers.
