I just sold my car to a dealer and have a question

Does any one now what the procedure is! We agreed by email on a price for my car subject to an inspection on the vehicle. He wants to pick up the car and do the inspection at his dealership. Is that normal procedure! Should i get him to check the car at my home! Any suggestions!

Yes taking it through a workshop is normal procedure. Most car salesman are not savi enough to check out a car on the gound.

Simple question for you herbie. Do you want to sell the car! If so then whats normal/abnormal really doesn't matter. Your buyer has made an offer to buy subject to inspection. If you aren't comfortable with that then why not counter offer by saying you will take the car to his workshop yourself. Incidently that is how we do it-My staff take the car to any inspections.
