When you sell a car now days is there any paperwork to be done ! I took my car into a car dealer this morning as a trade in (who obviously onsell it)and they were adamant that there was no paperwork to do in terms of changing ownership. Were they right (I took their word for it)!

You can do it all online- all it is, is a notice of disposal the other party do and pay for the change of ownership.

If its a reputable dealership that's been around for a while you'll be fine. When selling privatly or to a dodgy looking outfit you must always insist change of ownership is done before they take the car.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
