Because you can get much more sensible and later model cars for that money.

It would have been re rego'd before Carjam came along and sprung these clowns that do this. Back before Carjam, ifyou re registered a vehicle, then sold it, the new owner would receive paperwork stating the seller was the only other owner. Carjam cuts through all this.
There was a yard in Christchurch that had an E34 BMW M5 when Carjam first popped up, it had been re registered and a new plate applied in the early 2000s along with wiping off about 100,000kms. Probably sold on for moonbeams.

What I'm suggesting is, never buy old turbo charged Subarus as they are likely to give problems. Save your money and buy something that won't cost a fortune to keep on the road.

Almost looks like for the first couple of years the odo was entered with a extra '0'; ie 130,000 instead of 13,000, followed by 19,000 which seems more logical IMHO, still very unusual to import a 10yr old car only done 10,000kms.

$8900 for a 1999, it has less stuff then my subaru which is a 2001 bugeye only done 84,000km and I only payed $7800. You will have to add another $12-1500 for cambelt in another 4-5000km if it has only done 96,000km as it says.
