Im possibly looking to get into one of these, anything that I should look for in particular with my test drives? Any common faults etc?

Nope just usual check fully and properly serviced, with correct fluids. Beautifully built cars. Debate about gearbox fluids, in USA Lexus say never change but elsewhere it calls for change at 100km. Most agree it should be changed but you can't do it yourself, needs auto trans place to cycle old oil out and new stuff in. Worth doing when you get car for preventative maintenance. By the way, the Toyota mark X uses the Lexus IS running gear throughout, and is much cheaper though not as well sorted and appointed. Maybe worth considering. But if you can afford the Lexus get it.
