Daughter has one of these and reports when turning right an exclamation mark symbol momentarily appears on dash cluster accompanied by a"Beep".Any ideas ?havent had a chance to check it out but think could be,low tyre pressure/low brake fluid or similar.Apparently its is similar to "door not closed symbol" Thanks

check obvious things first then try figure what the light is. could be anything like if it has stability controll could be a steering angle sensor what it calld again some wierd as name ah yea the yaw or yow sensor lol needing callibrating .

These have electric power steer issues mainly the computer fails causing a fault code something along the lines of motor relay not opening. Take it to a reputable repairer and ask for them to check the fault codes for the eps

Thanks,will wait till i can see it myself,apparently it still goes ok and light and Beep is only intermittent,the worst kind of "fault. Hopefully is just some fluids a bit low.Son in law has the mechanical aptitude of a cowpat but he,s got a company car so !

Oil surge in the sump away from the sender unit when turning right? Check the oil level NOW.

#4 and 6 you are correct,daughter came around,checked oil, very low,added some ! problem solved, amazingly oil light was going out straight away.It wont happen again Phew.
