from a Lead acid one? I have replaced the battery in my Merc with one from the Merc Agents (cost $370) and it doesnt say Calcium on it . and its just as heavy as the one it replaced

The letters Ca are on a label on top in most instances.

I read on some online site (it's the internet so it must be true!), that Calcium batteries have that wee plastic 'window' on the top, and plain old lead-acid don't. Calcium batteries are a lead-acid battery anyway, but have Calcium added to their plates.

its probably a din 88 so very large common in merc sprinters
