Why would a dealer's window card ,,,

muzz67, Nov 28, 7:18am
clearly state a price, but also say 'For sale by Auction'?
Maybe innocent,dunno.

bwg11, Nov 28, 7:47am
Maybe it is on TradeMe with a "Buy Now"?

kazbanz, Nov 28, 7:56am
Most likely the "office lady" screwed up.

mharwood, Nov 28, 1:16pm
would you not put the buy now as the price if its an auction
with a buy now

cheapy11, Nov 28, 1:52pm
The Motorweb generated window cards (CIN cards) allow you to put for sale by auction, but also let you put an 'indicative price range'. Maybee that's what it is.

I see the 'imported damaged' box is ticked too.
Totally not interested now,,
Curious as to why its marketed this way?
Is it a way to skirt the CGA etc?

kazbanz, Nov 28, 4:03pm
Where is the price on the CIN card Muzz?
CIN seems to say for sale by auction.
They have disclosed it was imported damaged.
Nothing dodgy I can see.

cheapy11, Nov 28, 4:10pm
show us the price part.

muzz67, Nov 28, 6:33pm
Looked at vehicle on the yard, definitely looked like a 'normal' sale.
TradeMe page looks like an auction with a buy-now , as previously suggested.
Think I got the wrong end of the dog!

kazbanz, Nov 28, 6:47pm
OR they are having a dollar each way--auction on TM and window stickers on the yard.

mharwood, Nov 29, 9:20am
