Back in 1977 I owned a 1967 VC valiant, then I purchase a 1968 VE valiant. There was no VD valiant in between.
In the early '70s, (or thereabouts) Chrysler bought the English company Rootes Group, who dealt with Hillmans, & Singers. They were going to call themselves Chrysler Rootes Australia, but decided against it.
