yea who knows i know i seen in a old mag a platform connected to a few megawatt cable hover in the air , so its not impossible if they can advance the technology think it was in the 1950s the self hovering platform with a guy on it.

Yup. The floor is magnetic and the hoverboard has liquid-nitrogen cooled superconducters inside it (hence the "smoke") which create a decent enough magnetic field to support the board and rider's weight.

Pretty Cool. Literally.

So it's trickery! From what I read there is a magnetic force buried in the concrete, it's not just any old skate park.
Hmmm. kinda fits with Lexus claims on their cars too.
