I have to remove the right hand indicator, the whole unit. I've found the bolt at the top but can't for the life of me can I work out how to remove it. I've checked on u tube but that wasn't helpful. so any held would be appreciated.

Probably just a snap in clip requiring a vigorous yank to remove it, they can be problematic sometimes.

check carefully the back corner, not unknown to have a screw up through the bottom, and you have to semi remove the front valance to get to the screw or in the prado you'd have to semi remove the guard and the front valance

It'll be an easy one to remove because it's the only way to change the bulbs.
