Hi there folks, What can I swap Mitsi 4G64 2.4 GDI engine out with for a straight fit in to my daughters Galant Viento. Any ideas

I know of someone who has just swap out a 4G64 2.4 GDi engine out a Legnum for a engine out of a NZ New Galant, what has the SOHC 4G63. Along with the manual gear box,

4g63 will possibly fit but you will need complete loom and ecu as well. The ideal engine swap would be a 4g69 mivec or 6a12 v6 the later is fitted to galants/legnums stock so would possibly also line up with mounts again with new loom and ecu.

vr4_legnum was it a painful process that swap, was the legnum loom and ecu required in the swap Certainly looking for a non gdi swap oif we can with easiest possible situations

Have you considered repairing the 4G64
