Which Toyota?

Ok I have sorted out two toyota's. Toyota Corolla 2006 1.5 and the other is a Yaris 2008 1,5 both Sedans. Is there much difference between the two, one better than the other? They both look the same size. Am going to test drive but would like a bit of a heads up.

1.5 vvti is gutless junk. try on hills torque is at 4500rpm only
our 1.2 dacia had massive low rpm torque 115 newten at like 2500 rpm or something the same as the 1988 ford 1.6 diesel we once had

corolla is far superior in every way to yaris, if they are similar coin get the roller

vvti got to rev the crap out of it with 115 Nm (85 lb·ft) of torque at 4000 rpm.

The Corolla sedan will be a little bigger.
You should drive them and see if the yaris is big enough or if you need the extra space of the Corolla.
All things being equal, the yaris should be a little better on fuel.

If you only drive around town then either would be fine, but if you do a good amount on the open road then I would suggest looking for a 1.8L Corolla.

The Yarris is a Toyoa Belta in Jap imports. It replaces the Platz.
Seen separately you'd think its about the same size as the corolla Axio but its not its about 20% smaller everywhere.
same engine.
If I had to pick I would choose the Corolla because it will be a BIT more comfortable to drive.
The other thing is that for resale there is something about the corolla badge that makes selling the car a bit easier.
