I see that Opel cars been sold to Peugeot/Citroen. So now that Holden have introduced the Opel Insignia as the new Comodore where does that leave Holden
Perhaps Holden will finally release the long awaited FA model?

This happened months back mate. Holden have a contract to be supplied with current cars for foreseeable future.

Funny, as I thought the new commodores looked a bit like a 407.

Here in 5710 the Constabulary have just traded their old Commodores for the new model.
It made me think. Once the roll-out of these new police cars is complete, what's the minimum car you would need to do a successful remake of Getaway in Stockholm here in NZ?

Not sure how that works, the ZB isn't a PSA creation, it was still designed by Opel.

Depends more on who the body designer was, unless it was styled in house.

Only two years i believe. The current commodore/opel/peugeot thingy has to be replaced very soon. Maybe early 2020s peugeot will stop making it. They have their own platforms.

I wouldn't worry too much. In 7-10 years time most cars will be made under contract in China by Great Wall!

Caddy's coming :oP

Indeed 7-10 years only small cars will survive built by the cheapest countries to build them. If you have the coin to spend on a large car you are going to buy an SUV. It is just logic. Commodore will vanish.
