Pin number for Subaru car radio

We have sold our Subaru car. Shortly before we sold it we put a new battery in it. It seems when you do this you have to have a pin number to reset the radio. . The new owner wants this but we do not have it and have no recollection of ever having one, How can we solve this problem?

Contact the dealer. They have them on file provided it was sold new at a Subaru dealer in New Zealand rather than imported second hand from Japan.

The other alternative with jap import after market units is that they have stickers stuck to the back of the radio itself.

Thank you for your replies --I have passed the info on and hope the new owner gets the radio going.
