Quite often I have been through road works that at the end have 100km sign and barely a few meters later there is 70km or 50km sign, why bother for the 100km sign, just extend the road works restriction speed to that sign.

They put out so many cones the person holding the stop go sign is hard to spot especially if wearing an orange coat,But need to obey the speed limit and slow down.

your missing point, when I come across a farmer I slow right down. When I pass horses I cruise with engine idling. These are real things. When I see school bus I slow to 20. Rural mower teams, slow right down. But I don’t attribute human qualities to road cones.
