hibrid could be quite difficult .as it drives from electric and combustion. electric means throttle position is different.
aftermarket usually command the throttle . unless a specific kit exists who can be coded in to the system i would say not possible unless you spend a few hundred million doller to develop a integratable kit.

First of all you need to establish if cruise was a factory option. if so then a factory kit is the way to go.

Above link says "From $999 including GST". Not going to be economically viable on a 2007 civic. Cheaper for OP to sell their current car and buy a different car with the features they want.

Given the civic was offered with cruise control, the real question is if the factory cruise bits can be cheaply sourced (wrecker etc), and if they will plug and play.

Both my Jazz manual and Civic auto have cruise control. They are integrated into the steering wheel controls so adding later would appear expensive. The Civic cruise control is very accurate and smooth, so handy on long journeys where speed cameras in vans are everywhere.

As soon as you are dealing with electronic throttle control it all becomes a lot more complicated, cruise cannot be added in as it's a function of the engine or powertrain control module that responds directly to commands from the steering wheel controls and from vehicle speed information gathered via CANBUS from the ABS unit, it has to have provision for it, it cannot be done with an external controller acting directly on the throttle linkage. It's not often that cruise is specified on JDM stuff.

What if you had a servo motor which acted on the throttle pedal, and a microswitch to cut off the cruise control which was on the brake pedal?
