Here's another video, this guy does destruction testing under extremely high voltage conditions, metrology and test equipment analysis is his speciality and he's been at it forever.

He also looks at more common functions but with a level of detail and analysis that is often overlooked, eg most meters have continuity testing these days, but just how good is it and how well is it implemented.

It is a very good all rounder, rugged, very well built, excellent feature set for a reasonable price, not burdened by marking up the price to maintain branding distinction (wankery for suckers, the apple syndrome)

You will need one which can read a large DC current and has a back light for dark spaces. auto ranging is useful. I have used a lot of different meters and fluke fuses can be expensive
