Come to think of it if those skodas are clever in their tech, they could be using network systems from their manufacturing base to monitor ops, diagnostics,such as they use on tractors like "John Deere" for example.They can even shut the vehicle down from anywhere in the world or if it is owed finance! And the crims are good at hacking apparently.

Right to repair etc Ag equipment manufacturers and dealers associations are making an online resource available for farm machinery repair manuals etc.

read that somewhere a while ago and there is a good utube cip on it too .Some one down my way is using chinese knock off software tools but certain features are locked out !.I'm not sure where NZ stands with the right to repair but I know John Deere local only to the states has come to some compromise with owners regards to that ag stuff.
