Well Scotty, you may find my rice a little hard to swallow. I have a stupid little slow ricer nissan silvia, its not the bees knees or the ducks pajamas but it would destroy that heap you think is a fast car. Moderate modifications give me 215rwKw and a PB of 12.8 at meremere and i have only done one drag day. I have lapped Puke in a cautious 2:10. Factory my ricer crapbox will do 0-100 in 6.5s according to the internet, it should be closer to 5s now. Im fairly content with my toy car, but will most likely upgrade the turbo to a GT2871r and get around 275rwKw, which should be good enough for a very low 12s quarter mile with almost factory turbo spool and reliability.
So, do you think you might be talking it up a little with your faster than fast holden!

Stock Hondas are slow for sure. hence why I wacked a turbo on my CRX, got the 1/4 mile down to 12.9 @107mph using Semi Slicks. but its a horrible car to drive as a daily.I'll make a 0-100 Vid soon when I can be bothered driving it again. I don't actually like the car that much and its only done about 1000k's in the last year.
I am currently Turbocharging my Honda Poolude, its a bit more comfortable then the CRX, but still not that comfy. the only reason for doing it is for something to do. in hope its nicer to use as a daily driver then the CRX ended up being. once I'm done with that I want a V8, hopefully a Holden SV8 or something with an LS1 in it. of course this will cost me a lot more then the Rice Toys.
Interestingly a mate of mine just bought a Holden, after test driving a RX7, 180sx, Sti WRX, S2000 and some other cars, settled on the Holden as he hated the lack of torque with all the other cars.

If you want an LS1 powered means of transport get an NA or NB model MX5 and chuck an LS1 in there. Serious sleeper.
My stock DA6 was 0-100 in 7.8 Seconds, had a K&N Panel filter and 2.25inch exhaust, but was a heavy model with sunroof and full electrics. they go good for 1600cc

mine has I,H,E and a aftermarket ecu a pretty harty weight reduction including suspension and rigidity mods dz101's a s1 short ratio gbox .Its around 6.5 secs wish i stil had a turbo kit
