Using a led(flashing with 33ohm resister) feed the anode constant live and cathode ignition feed !

it will backfeed through anything on the ignition circuit that has a resistance down to ground like a bulb the coil a relay ect ect

Just try it, Yel + , Red -, LED with suitable resistor, can't hurt anything.
