How much would you expect a second-hand car dealer to negotiate!
Do you work on 10% lower than his asking, 20% or more!
Just wondering what a good staring point would be.

it all depends on the car. I would say compare it to other similar models on the market and see where it sits in price. If it's abnormally over priced for its age/kms compared to its competition I would probably try negotiating citing that as your reasoning why you are offering less. If it's already well priced I probably wouldn't bother try haggling any further.
